.................... 1846 Marriage James Harris to Elizabeth Woodcock
Shown above is the marriage certificate from 1846 of James Banfield Moore Harris, and Elizabeth Sophia Woodcock. They married on the 22nd June at the Parish Church of St John Waterloo Southwark. They were living in Oakley Street (now renamed Baylis Road) in Lambeth. Over the next twenty five years the Harris' constantly were on the move as the size of the family grew, but always stayed within the Lambeth area.
Sophia is shown on the baptism certificate (above) This is the only record as birth certificates were only issued from 1837. She was the daughter of Matthew and Sophia Woodcock and was baptised with her brother Mark at St Mary Parish Church Lambeth on the fourth of November 1827. This was the same church that her daughter Emily would marry George Musgrove in 1871.
