........Edward Langman 1892-1984
Edward was born 18th April 1892 at the Stag and Hounds public house Croydon. His father Thomas was licensee at the time. At the age of eighteen Edward joined the Royal Navy at Gillingham in Kent. Edward's naval career extended to World War 2 and at the end the war he was serving as a British Warrant Office working in Fiji and the Pacific. At this time he married a Fijean lady. His wife shortly died and they didn't have any children. He later married Pauline Vakaloloma and they had three children, Edna, George and Edward jnr.
Edward lived to age of 92 and died in 1984 in Fiji. His son George still lives in Fiji with his family. Edna now lives in New Zealand, Edward jnr lives in the USA. Thanks to Edward and his wife Curl for prviding the details and photos.
