Musgrove's and Langman's Pub in Danbury Essex
Cricketer's Inn's landlord in 1885 was George Musgrove. Christiana,
only child of George's first marriage ran this pub with her
new husband Thomas Langman shortly after marrying.. As can
be seen below they married in the Danbury Parish Church on
November 4th 1885. One year later a local
contempory directory lists Thomas Langman as the publican of The Cricketers Arms.
The pub still exists today. The Langmans however soon moved
on and are shown on the 1891 census as
the publicans of The Stag and Hounds South Croydon.
